Tonight I read "The Tortoise and the Hare" to the kids and when I was finished, I asked them what they learned.
Elliot: I can run fast!
Me: You sure can!
Lily: Or, maybe we should take our nap!
Me: Yes, Lily, that's great. You should always obey mommy when she says to take a nap. Anything else?
Kids: No.
They might have missed the point of the story, but they came up with a good moral! :)
