These last few days we were at a camp with a group of Thais and they hsd a separate kids worship time for our children. When Lily got home that night, she told me about this video they watched about King Davis and his life...she told me the story about Goliath, and Saul, on and on and how David finally became king. I was so proud of how well she comprehended everything! Then, she goes on to tell me that "This video had humans in it." You mean it wasn't a cartoon? No, it was a cartoon. It had humans! Humans! (Elliot) What are you talking about? In that other one, he was a vegetable.
Apparently, I haven't made a good enough connection between Bible stories and Veggie Tales :). Live and learn.

hilarious. yeah - maybe we should sit down one day and iron out all the differences between the actual stories and the veggie ones. jeshurun was convinced for a time that the soldiers at jericho actually threw slushie drinks down onto the israelites to tease them. i understand.
