post #2 of the day: "Big Hot Dogs"

So, I am on a blogging marathon. This one couldn't wait, even though it has already waited a couple of weeks.

Since we live in a Muslim area of the country, we don't eat pork, so the other day when we found chicken hot dogs and chicken ham, we were REALLY excited. They don't exactly have beef or turkey lunch meat here, so we really miss cold sandwiches. The first day, we bought little cocktail weenies for the kids, and some chicken ham for us. Both were really good. Lily LOVES hot dogs!

The next time Nick went to the store, he decided to get more, but accidently bought chicken bologna instead. Not bad, but not what we were expecting. And, he got a lot because of how much we liked it. So, we were stuck with all of this chicken bologna and no one to eat it.

Until, Stephanie had a brilliant marketing scheme.

S [pulling out the bag of sliced bologne]: Hey Lily do you want to see the biggest hot dog you have ever seen?
L: Oh yes, mama, I do. Wow, mama, I have never seen that big of a hot dog!
S: Lily would you like to eat the really big hot dog?
L: Yeah!

So it didn't take much. She consumed it in its entirety in 2 sittings.

Just have to know how to package it.
