One day we were all in the van together and as we were about to pass the store when we decided we needed some groceries.
Usually if we all try to do it together, its definitely exciting, but not necessarily what you would call "fun" so I decided to stay with the kids in the car while Nick ran in and got some things.
We were sitting and listening to a cd and just chilling in the car when Elliot starts to freak out, scream and get really excited. I finally figured out he was yelling "lightning mcqueen" [for those of you who don't watch cartoons, its a character from the disney movie "Cars"] when I looked out the front window and saw a red sports car.
Steph: Wow, that does look like Lightning McQueen! Isn't that cool?!?
Lily: Yeah, but he doesn't have any eyes.
Steph: You're right, Lily. You're so smart!
Its amazing what kids think is important.

Stephanie, I LIVE for your Posts, I could read them all day.. I laugh and CRY while reading them. I am SO BLESSED to have you as my dear daughter in law. You certainly have a gift for writing.
